 I really like the orange background, I think it adds mysterious atmosphere. And since it's meant to be humorous it doesn't have to be creepy. It's pretty silly with those pink boots and the little-girl dress. I really like the piece overall.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. All in all I really like this piece. My first response was that the background was too warm, and not creepy enough, but the more I look at it the more I am inclined to say that it is CREEPIER with the orange background. It really adds to the severed rabbit head and stray arm.
She looks pregnant and dumb, so again the title is great. I really like the touching of her right arm to her lip, it adds to the immenent, stoopid, inevitable picking up of the zombie arm by the girl...
Great work. It is original and funny. Great imaginative narration to go along with it...
